EP3679779 - Nitrogen-fixing bacteria (AZB) & nitrous oxide emissions

The latest in a series of Polyor SAS innovations (https://lnkd.in/exiTpR5a) for the intensification of sustainable agriculture (https://lnkd.in/eJPnvwhg). The European EP patent has just been granted.

The basic idea is to minimize the nitrous oxide emissions from cellulosic crop residues by applying minimal amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus & sulfur directly to the crop residues. This is advantageously done using slow-release triazones, polyphosphates & thiosulphates, respectively. This type soil incorporation of NPS-treated cellulosic crop residues is a form of azotobacterial fertilization (AZB).

This AZB technology is recommended as a means of ensuring the said intensification of sustainable non-Fabaceae field-crop production as monitored & certified using Polyor's AgroNum AI algorithm (https://lnkd.in/exiTpR5a).
