Azotobacterial fertilization (AZB). Non-bactericidal control/slow release fertilizers can be applied directly to soil borne crop-residues. This targeting of crop-residues with otherwise conventional nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) & sulfur (S) soil and/or foliar applied fertilizers will enhance the activity of indigenous & inoculated azotobacteria. This simple & sustainable N-fertilization approach, alias NPS (EP3679779 ; https://lnkd.in/ejJMzuHD), is one of many patented innovations currently proposed by Polyor SAS (https://lnkd.in/eBmfT3NM) as a means to sustainable agriculture, integrated fertilizer management & soil organic matter/carbon conservation & build-up.
