Apparently, (soil) conservation agriculture (https://lnkd.in/eJKD-XFn) & ecologically intensive agriculture (https://lnkd.in/eguEwBk9) are not as trendy as they use to be. Dommage! (Too bad!). Probably too common sense, but above all not lucrative enough given that carbon-credits & carbon-farming are relatively recent additions to sustainable agriculture. This said, the carbon-credit/farming approach will succeed only if precise & cheap soil-carbon monitoring is made available to farmers. Time will tell. In the meantime, Polyor SAS's AgroNum approach to SA (https://lnkd.in/eBmfT3NM) is probably more in line with conservation agriculture & ecologically intensive agriculture requiring no soil sampling and/or direct soil-carbon monitoring. Again, time will tell if this more "conservative" (sic) tack is more practical & useful.
