Soil productivity indices - Toth et al. 2013

Toth et al. 2013 (https://lnkd.in/e586fZvk) provide a legitimate index of the inherent productivity of arable land across Europe (less the Balkans & Turkey, for the time being - work in progress). This iSQ index (alias sqicrop) is used by Polyor SAS to standardize nitrogen-fertilizer use efficencies when setting up its AgroNum database & algorithm (www.polyor.fr). The map shows the said iSQ indicies overlayed with the AgroNum database. These geotiff files avaiable via the European ESDAC (https://lnkd.in/eYcztv7r) are very useful for the development of such digital applications dedicated to sustainable agriculture.
